If you’ve decided on the suite you’d like to customize, then take a look at our Design Guide and choose your paper, print method, and add ons. Then, fill out our Intake Form to receive a quote from us within 2-4 business days. We also highly recommend ordering some samples from us, so you can better familiarize yourself with our paper and print methods.

After you receive our quote, we schedule a 20 minute phone consultation to talk about any questions you might have about your order. While this isn’t a must-do, we highly recommend it so as we might get to know you, and your design goals, a little better.

Book With Us

If you make the decision to book with us, we will send you a contract and an invoice for a non-refundable retainer fee - which is 50% of your total invoice price. Once you’ve made the payment for the deposit, your spot on our design calendar is confirmed. The remainder of your invoice is due before we ship your order out to you. Please note that shipping costs are not included in the invoice price, and will be billed separately.

Calligraphy Variances

Calligraphy is a personal art form and variances in the appearance of the letterforms, spacing, and flourishing will occur. We try our best to produce the highest quality work but these variances will inevitably occur as it is a human handmade product.

Errors in Production

Your order includes one final proof prior to print production. It is your responsibility to proofread your order and make sure there are no mistakes. MBOJ Studio is not responsible for spelling errors. If you find such errors in your printed pieces, you will be charged for reprinting (and rush fees of necessary).

Color Disclaimer

We strive to represent the colors shown on our website as accurately as possible, but we cannot guarantee that the printed color will look exactly like the screen color, especially because each computer or phone monitor is calibrated differently. If you are concerned about the color of your order, we recommend ordering samples from us before.

Pricing

All prices listed on our website are subject to change without notice. In the event that items on the website are priced incorrectly, we retain the right to cancel and refund any orders placed for the products listed at the incorrect price.

Shipping

Shipping costs are not included in your order. They are calculated upon completion of your order and a separate invoice will be emailed to you. Your order is shipped once this final invoice is paid.

Proofs

Please ensure you carefully check over all proofs thoroughly including content/spelling, layout, card sizes/color/type, font size and ink color.

You will receive 1 complimentary proof round for minor revisions to text, layout/calligraphy and one final design proof, to approve revisions (if required) before proceeding to print. Any further proof rounds required will incur an additional fee, from $100 USD.

Although we thoroughly check over all handwritten goods, occasionally errors may occur. In this instance, please contact us immediately and we will send a correction or refund the amount paid for the incorrectly written goods, if a correction is not available for any reason. If the error is on the list provided by you, the correction will incur additional writing/shipping costs.

All designs, images and artwork on this site are protected by copyright and are the sole property of MBOJ Studio. unless otherwise indicated. This includes all designs, images and artworks used during the proofing process. Under no circumstances may this work be used for personal use, nor may it be repurposed or derivative works be made from it.

Returns, Exchanges & Cancellations

Due to the custom nature of our services, we do not allow returns or exchanges. For cancellation policy, please refer to the terms of the contract.

Upon receiving your goods, please inspect them carefully and let us know if there’s a mistake within 7 days from receiving it. If there is a printing error made on our part, we will either reprint the paper goods or provide a credit for the misprint. If there is an error with the wording that was approved by the client, the costs of reprinting must be covered by the client.
